With a discography that spans over a decade long, The Grouch keeps his music underground inventive and over ground effective. “Slow and steady wins the race” is a tried and true mantra of the The Grouch.  His newest musical treasure, Show You the World, is stacked with 15 gems that personify his proven formula: Bay Area Bump with true to life wordplay.

No stranger to Hawai‘i, the bay area native has already stamped his name in the annals of the 50th State with live hip-hop shows dating back to 1997. Along with his team of bash brothers — The Living Legends consisting of Murs, Eligh, Scarab, Lucky I Am, Sunspot Jones and Bicasso — the group recorded the accurately titled posse album named Classic on Maui back in 2002. Fast forward six years later and now The Grouch has been back on the Valley Isle lamping with relatives for the past three months and possibly recording music. His stay is indefinite so if you are fortunate enough to catch a show or if you see The Grouch soaking up a few rays, get at him and show him some Aloha.
