Angela Boatwright is a full time professional photographer, avid metal head, amazing blogger (check her blog angelaboatwright.blogspot.com) and runs Killer of Giants which she uses to showcase other artists’ work around the globe. Angela’s clientele list is crazy long full of huge companies including, Elle Magazine, Urban Outfitters, The Truth Campaign, MTV; there are too many to list.

Currently In4mation (Ward Warehouse) is presenting her Sorcerers exhibit. This is her collection of metal fan portraits that she has accumulated since 2000 featuring righteous heavy metal scenes: long haired fans, intense crowd shots and backstage ‘all access’ passes to corpse paint and fake blood.

“I started shooting heavy metal fans in 2000 (at Ozzfest in Ohio for the late Transworld Stance magazine of all things) and just kept it up. I had amassed a pretty huge collection of shots of fans by 2006 and combined the images with shots of Children of Bordom in Finland and other personal stuff. Since I capped the Sorcerers project I have shot twice as many fans. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with all my personal work but it'll make a great book one day.” -Angela Boatwright
