I haven’t seen Cage The Elephant or Mariachi El Bronx before, but I did get a chance to see Best Coast last summer at SF Museum of Natural Science. They were playing in the backyard of the Museum in the forest of Golden Gate Park. I got there about 30 minutes before they came on stage. Over the next 20 minutes, about 300 other people arrived as well. Then Best Coast proceeded to get warmed up and play the most mesmerizing show Ive seen in awhile. It was like the crowd was hypnotized in reverb and warm guitar licks. I then saw them the next day at OutsideLands music festival on a medium sized stage in front of about 3,500 people and the exact same thing happened. The crowd was engaged and entranced. Don’t miss the chance for Best Coast to zone you out tomorrow!
