Chinese artist Xia Xiaowan (above) and Canadian artist David Spriggs have pushed beyond the boundaries of the visual arts by turning flat artwork into three dimensional form. The holographic effect is achieved by using multiple layers of clear glass. Each sheet of glass is decorated separately, then put together on floor racks. With a 360 degree viewing angle, every viewpoint offers a unique and personal experience otherwise unavailable with 2D art.
