Straight out of Timbaland’s camp is IZZA KIZZA. Born and raised in the Dirty GA, but groomed as an artist in the Dirty Jerz, IZZA drops the new mixtape “The Wizzard of IZ” today the 29th. With special guest appearances by Lil Wayne, David Banner and Birdman. I just listened to it in it’s entirety, which is rare, and I feel like I’m in the matrix or some shit. I was rapping with Akila Aipa last weekend over the phone and among discussions about modern surfboard designs, big plans for the AIPA Surf brand and what it means to keep things (like Contrast) REAL, he told me that one time in Indo years ago he tatted Tim Hendricks. Arguably the greatest sandwich on Oahu, currently exclusive to the North Shore, Storto’s Deli is coming to Honolulu. A vacant retail spot on Waialae Ave and 4th Ave has these banners in the windows, claiming a May 1st opening date. I can taste the papaya seed dressing now.
